Pekah king of Israel was the king that succeeded Pekahiah king of Israel soon after assassinating him.[1] He was a king who did evil in the sight of the LORD[2] and was king when Tiglath-Pileser III invaded Israel.[3] He was assassinated by Hoshea son of Elah,[4] who proceeded to become the last king of Israel.
