Jair (Hebrew: יָאִיר Yā’īr, "he enlightens") was a Judge of Israel, who led for 22 years, after the death of Tola.[1]

Jair had thirty sons, who rode thirty donkeys, and controlled 30 cities in Gilead.[2] Jair died and was buried in Camon (or Kamon).[3]
