Heber also called Heber the Kenite (Hebrew: עֵבֶר) was the husband of Jael[1], and a fellow Kenite which was a descendant of Hobab, Moses' father-in-law (or may possibly be brother-in-law).[2]

He had severed himself away from his tribe and pitched his tent by the oak of Zannanim, near Kadesh.[2] When Sisera fled from the war, he traveled away to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber, for there was a peace betwixt Jabin king of Hazor, and onto Heber the Kenite.[3]
