The Book of Hosea is the twenty-eighth book of the Old Testament (and thus of the Bible). It is a book of warnings and promises of God written by the prophet Hosea to His people in the kingdom of Israel, illustrated through Hosea's commanded marriage to a unfaithful wife as a sign of God's continuous faithful love to a people who have been unfaithful to Him.
