Early Life[]

Abigail was born unto Jesse and her mother[1][2] somewhere in Bethlehem and helped in his father's farm.

She had many brother's who were servants of Saul's army. She was likely engaged by one of the Ishmaelites there or had Ishmaelite servants.

She was then married to Jether the Ishmaelite whom she bore Amasa[1][2] who was later appointed military commander of his uncle David's army and was assassinated by Joab[3][4]. Her death remains unknown.
