Abel-cheramim (Hebrew:אָבֵל כְּרָמִים) was a city of the Ammonites and east of Jordan. This place is mentioned in the Book of Judges when Jephthah pursued the Ammonites as far as this city[1]. This name does not infact appear in the King James Version and is only referred to as "unto the plain of the vineyards", which is the meaning of the name.
